Data Loss Prevention
PacketSure analyzes the content of data in motion as well as data at rest. Monitor outgoing communications and identify private content across all protocols PacketSure manages — more than 140. Block outgoing email and HTTP/HTTPS communications in real time that contain private information or encrypt or quarantine email for further review. Examine files in local file systems on Windows machines and on remote machines with non-Windows operating systems. These types of content analysis are available in PacketSure:

Protocol Management
Control the type of traffic that occurs on your network. PacketSure monitors TCP/IP or UDP traffic passively or inline and performs deep packet inspection of network traffic. It blocks traffic by protocol at the edge of your network and contains a default set of more than 140 signature—based rules that can be customized to meet your needs. You can also create custom rules using keyword matching or extended regular expressions to manage specific traffic. When PacketSure finds a rule matche, it takes the action specified by the rule — log, block, or allow.
Web Filtering
The web filter included in PacketSure contains a list of more than fourteen million web sites grouped in categories to choose to log, block, or allow and prevent users from accessing inappropriate web sites. The list can also be customized to allow access to specific web sites contained in blocked categories or to add additional sites to the list.
